The Evolution Of Toronto Web Design

toronto web designIt is no secret that Toronto web design has changed over the years. When you compare what you see today to what was used then, it is obvious. While its appearance is different, you should know that it goes deeper than that.
A vast majority of design has changed to create something more attractive and user-friendly. The focus has moved and what we want in a website has changed.
You are not going to find many websites like those found in the 90’s anymore because of this.
Today, it is all about sharing, socializing, interacting, and using. Everything is about being out there, being found, and interesting people to ensure that more site visitors are brought in.
Early Web Design
In the beginning, web design was mostly plain text sites that offered information. For quite a few years, it was all about the basics. As time went by, small changes began to occur. These text websites began using links and began to use links and began to change small amounts. You would see the introduction of several new changes, like colored backgrounds. These made it possible to start designing websites and to start creating something that appeared unique and attractive.
As websites became more popular and more people began to use them, you would see several changes. A lot of the earlier websites from when the internet first became hugely popular featured some basic designs. HTML was used so everything was together rather than separated. This means that backgrounds and text were together, along with everything else on the pages.
Some other additions that you would see often includes stylized text that was moving or color changing and GIFs, which are moving images. In the earlier days on the World Wide Web, these additions were hugely popular and it was not too difficult to find websites that had them.
 Java and Flash: Fancy Times!
With the introduction of Java, CSS, Flash, and more, designs began to evolve and the basics were left behind. You would see more attractive websites, more animated features, and more unique designs.
These websites were capable of doing things that HTML could not match. People could create usable menus and features that encourage user interaction and that help to bring more information to everyone.
 Web Design Today
Today, sites are more about flow and user interaction. You see a lot of websites that try to make use as friendly as possible. Everything moves smoothly and a lot of sites make travelling from page to page simple. You will also find greater use of different features to get you involved in the sites.
Whether this is spreading the pages across the web with social media or building the site from the pages, the user has taken on a major role in the success and growth of sites.
What we will see in the future can be guessed, but it is impossible to know exactly. Web design will always evolve and what is possible will be determined by what is out there.
Just like how Flash and CSS, just to name a couple, changed websites and the way that we make and use them, what is still to come will change everything that we know today and allow for greater opportunities in Toronto web design.
